Mine arrived with a small chip, I would have gone through the effort to get a new one, but honestly was disappointed in how the fading edge ended so abruptly with the handle. I’ve used other heat activated mugs and they had better transitions from the heat activated part to the handle. Just overall underwheled.
I love using this mug! It's so fun to fill it up and watch the aurora come out. It also helps me remember to finish my tea before it gets cold. :)

What a beautiful reminder of my trip to Alaska! I enjoy watching the Aurora appear on my mug every morning. It is a small memento that just makes me really happy. It would be a perfect gift for anybody who loves the northern lights.
Gave it to my daughter as a birthday gift, and she literally squealed with joy (and she’s in her 20’s). So glad these are available.
